Delivery & Returns

Packing, shipments and returns

PACKING

With very few exceptions, every item that we ship is always double packed.

  • Internal packing:

All the larger pieces, as well as the annual collection flutes, are packed in Instapak® packaging foam which is poured into the box and takes the shape of the object before setting.

The drinking glasses and small pieces are packed in wrapping paper and BubbleWrap® or PluriBall® and then placed either in individual boxes or in boxes with multiple compartments.

  • External packing:

All the internal boxes are either placed individually or in groups in larger external cases and filled with ‘S’ shaped Styrofoam pieces, or ‘peanuts’ as they are termed.

Both the external cases and the Styrofoam peanuts are of the highest quality to ensure the safe arrival of the products.

SHIPPING

We entrust all of our shipments to the carrier DHL www.dhl.com.
We only use DHL’s air service which guarantees a rapid and safe delivery. The delivery time for an order is usually 7 to 10 days. However, where items are not available for immediate despatch and need to be either drawn off from the factory or manufactured, the delivery time can be significantly longer.

All our shipments are sent on a DAP (Delivered at Place)* basis. This means that the shipping costs we ask of you cover the packing, shipping door to door and insurance and that it is our responsibility to deliver the merchandise intact to the address you give us.
Please note that import customs clearance costs and import taxes are not included in the shipping costs.
NB: Shipments to EU countries are not subject to import clearance costs and import taxes.

*DAP is an Incoterms® 2010 shipping term and takes the place of the original DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), an Incoterms® 2000 shipping term. The conditions of both terms are basically the same and it is really just the naming that changes.
For further information please see the Incoterms Rules in the International Chamber of Commerce web site at www.iccwbo.org/incoterms

DAP - Delivered at Place (Incoterms 2010) or
DDU - Delivered Duty Unpaid (Incoterms 2000)
means that:
The seller bears the risks and costs associated with safely delivering the goods to the established place of destination.
The buyer is responsible for paying the import customs clearance and import taxes.

Shipping costs will be calculated based on weight and destination upon checkout.
